About

My profile photoI’m a team lead at Netchemia where I spend my time Leaning/Agiling up our workflow, developing on their .NET projects, and, along the way, using and teaching good development principles I advocate. ┬áMost of them have buzzwords, buzz-acronyms, and/or follow the format NOUN-Driven NOUN:

  • Test-driven development (TDD)
  • Behavior-driven development / Acceptance Test-driven development (BDD/ATDD)
  • Domain-driven design (DDD)
  • Object-oriented programming (OOP)
  • SOLID principles
  • Iterative development processes
  • Lean / Agile
  • Kanban

When I’m not being a geek for money, I’m being a geek on my own time doing martial arts (especially pencak silat), gaming, listening to or playing music, and reading theology, philosophy, and all things strange and arcane.

Sehota has never been fond of me.

Agree: Both of these people are collaborating with the enemy.

“I call you to courage. I call you to challenge those presuppositions instead of accommodating them. I call you to war against high-risk delivery, false and harmful metrics, misanthropic management philosophies, and waste rather than collaborating with the enemy.”

  2. Hey Phil! Nostalgia struck this week when I found an old yearbook photo of freshman orchestra, and I thought I’d look for some old friends.
